In the face of advancing progress, India’s Global Hunger Index ranking of 65 out of 84 countries presents a shocking reality that we often overlook. However, our organisation is committed to eradicating hunger, malnutrition, and food waste. As part of our Zero Hunger initiative, we extend a helping hand to the hungry, homeless, elderly, women, children, leprosy patients, and disabled individuals living on the streets. The plight of many homeless people residing in public places such as highways, railway stations, and bus stops profoundly moves us, and we are determined to provide nourishment to those hungry, needy individuals, abandoned senior citizens, and migrant workers.
Food Distribution
Our journey towards ensuring that no one goes hungry began with a clear vision – to ensure that every individual has access to food. We established community kitchens where meals are prepared with care and compassion. Dedicated volunteers and drivers wholeheartedly take part in distributing food to various communities in need.
Covid 19 relief
The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic posed significant challenges for numerous families, leaving them struggling to make ends meet due to job losses and economic hardships caused by lockdowns. In response, we collaborated with the district government to provide food and dry rations to several communities. Our efforts focused on offering cooked meals and ration kits to residents in Gaya town and its rural areas, ensuring they received much-needed sustenance during these trying times.
